Penataran Museum

The Penataran Museum is around 8km north-west of the main Penataran Candi site, along the busy Jalan Penataran. The buildings themselves are pleasant and the museum has helpful staff. It contains artefacts from many candis in the area, not just the main site. Although fairly small, the museum is a valauable resource, and contains a number of fine statues, inscriptions and reliefs.
