The Setia Darma Mask and Puppet House in Ubud is one of the largest collections of masks and puppets in the world, housing over 1,300 masks and 5,700 puppets. It was built upon the collection of Mr. Hadi Sunyoto, and opened in 2006. Needless to say the collection of photographs presented here are but a small representation of that amount.
The House is set in quiet and peaceful grounds, that cover more than one hectare. The collections are in six houses, which are themselves beautifully built of teak and other natural materials. I have divided the photographs below into three sections: masks, puppets and wayang.
